Tigers
Children in the Tiger room are age 5 and older. The Tiger program was developed to ensure kindergarten readiness for children just missing the cut off to Kindergarten and for before and after school age children. Social and emotional development, hygiene, and physical developments are reinforced with this age group. Children are not only recognizing letters and numbers but are also starting to write them. Brushing up is key at this age level. Reinforcing the use of scissors, knowing addresses and phone numbers, and pencil use are important parts of each day. The Pledge of Allegiance, recognition of small words (sight words), kid writing, science projects, and simple math skills are introduced as well.
