Pre-Kindergarten

The Kidz Quarterz Programz

Kidz Quarterz is not only licensed by the Dept. of Public Welfare but we also provide our children with experienced, certified teachers. Our programs are designed to stimulate learning through fun and exploration, fostering each child's creativity and positive self image with success oriented activities.

INFANTS/Bunnies
This age group is given extra tender loving care. Cuddling, singing, and reading are just a few of the many things you will see in our infant room. Your child will begin learning through visuals, hands-on, and imitation. Due to the special needs of infants, there will be a daily report given to parents about their child's day.

TODDLERS/Koalas, Chipmunks, Monkeys, Pandas, Bears                                   This age group focuses on the use of manipulatives to build motor skills, free play to enhance both creativity and socialization, playground activity to build large motor skills, art materials and language development. There will be a daily report given to parents at the end of the day.

PRESCHOOL/Bees & Roos                                                                                                      Social and emotional development, hygiene, and language development are emphasized through circle time, art activities, work time, and large motor movement. Children are required to do simple tasks such as putting on their own outerwear, dumping lunch plates, preparing sleep mats for nap, and cleaning up their work areas when they have completed an activity.

PRE-K & SCHOOL AGE/Tigers
Social and emotional development, hygiene, and physical developments are reinforced with this age group. Children are not only recognizing letters and numbers but are also starting to write them. Children are taught to use scissors, learn their address, phone number, Pledge of Allegiance, and begin to recognize small words (sight words). Our Pre-kindergarten program was developed to ensure kindergarten readiness.

KIDZ QUARTERZ STAFF

The staff of Kidz Quarterz are either degreed teachers or high school graduates with prior child care experience. Our staff are professionally trained to provide for the individual needs of the children under their care. Interviews and background checks are part of our staff selection process.  Both a criminal record and a child abuse check are conducted before a staff person begins caring for a child. All staff are trained in first aid, fire safety, and emergency procedures.
